We only offer camping facilities. You would need to have you own camping equipment. 

How do we book? 

You can make a booking using the following channels:

can you book a specific site?

Sites are chosen on arrival during low season, we don't pre-book specific sites. Only during high season can a booking that is 20 nights or longer submit a request for a site, click HERE for more information.

Bookings 20 nights or LONGER - Open from 1 Jan. To submit a booking enquiry for 20 nights, click HERE.

Bookings LESS than 20 nights - Open from 1 Jun. Please do not submit a booking enquiry for less than 20 nights prior to 1 Jun as you will be required to re-send this enquiry on 1 Jun. ​These bookings are subject to availability.

What is your pet policy?

General Rules:

1. Pet Types and Seasons: Only small dogs are permitted during the low season, subject to prior arrangement. Strictly no cats are allowed on the premises. Pet parrots/birds may be accommodated provided their noise does not disrupt other guests.
2. Confinement: Dogs must be contained within your designated site and not allowed to wander onto others' sites.
3. Leashing: Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside your personal camping site.
4. Cleanup: Owners are required to promptly clean up after their dogs using a "poop scoop" or similar tool. Additionally, it is essential to prevent pets from urinating on other campers' sites or equipment to maintain a respectful and clean environment for all.
5. Restricted Areas: Dogs are strictly prohibited from entering the swimming pool area and the ablution facilities.
6. Noise Control: Please ensure your pets are quiet and do not disturb other guests.
7. Wildlife Protection: Pets found chasing wildlife will lead to immediate expulsion from the park.
8. Liability: Pet owners assume full liability for their pets and agree to indemnify the caravan park against any damages or claims arising from their pet's presence.

Consequences for Rule Violation:

• Initial Breach: A charge of R50 per day will be imposed for any breach of these rules.
• Repeated Breach: Further violations will result in being asked to leave the resort with no refund entitlement.
• Homeowners: For park home owners, repeated breaches will result in a permanent daily pet fee being added to their account.

Additional Requirements:

• Identification: All dogs must wear collars with their owner's contact details to prevent them from being sent to the SPCA in case they are found unattended.
• Understanding and Preparation: Owners must recognize the unfamiliar environment for their pets and act accordingly to prevent any issues.

do you offer pensioners discount?

Yes we do, senior rates are applicable to persons over the age of 60 years. To find out more about our rates, click HERE.

Do you offer permanent camp sites? 

No we do not. Seniors making use of the monthly rate do so on a month to month basis and these rates are only valid during certain periods of the year. Subject to availability. 

Do i need to book in advance?

Absolutely - Bookings in advance are essential for a number of reason: 

1. They ensure that we have sufficient availability - there are periods during the year where we reach 100% occupancy, therefore bookings are essential. 
2. They ensure you are aware of the rates prior to arrival. 
3. They ensure that you are registered for gate access prior to arrival. 
4. They ensure that we have you on record should any important information relating to your booking come up that we need to communicate to you. 
5. The speed up your check in process so that you can settle in quicker and make the most of your stay since your booking invoice and account has already been populated. 
6. It allows you to make online payments. 
7. If the invoice is settled in full prior to arrival, there is no need to stop at reception and you will be able to perform your own self check in at your convenience (Not applicable to high season check-in's). 

Where are you located?

Our resort is situated on the Eastern Side of the Kwelera River. We are perfectly situated at the mouth of the River, and so guests enjoy private access to both the Beach, River and Surf.

Do you have a swimming pool?

Yes we sure do! The resort boasts a 18m x 10m award winning swimming pool. 

Do you have a shop or resturant on site?

During the festive season we run a small tuckshop and laundry service and during the year we sell ice, wood, charcoal cooldrinks and water from the reception.

what is the nearest shopping centre?

Crossways Super Spar is located just 10 minutes from the resort. The centre has a Super Spar, butchery, fuel station, hardware store, tyre fitment centre, pet shop, gas exchange, restaurants, hair dresser, gym, pharmacy, doctors, gift shop, nursery, wellness centre, Tops Bottle store, Post Net, car wash, fishing tackle and more.
